On top of Black Edition trim, you get 21in alloy wheels, adaptive suspension, four-wheel steering (not including the 40 TDI), a panoramic glass roof, 4-zone climate control, a head-up display, heated rear seats and a few other luxuries. Too expensive to recommend.

The S6 has a 3.0-litre V6 diesel under the bonnet with 339bhp to give 0-62mph in 5.0sec dead. It has lots of low down urgency and can crack 40mpg according to official figures, too.
