The model
Read full reviewDespite its more sporty aesthetic, the Audi E-tron Sportback drives in a very similar manner to the regular E-tron SUV, but that’s no bad thing. No, it isn't as sharp as the Jaguar I-Pace in corners, but it is extremely hushed and most versions do a great job of soaking up bumps, while the interior is lavish. As a bonus, it remains usefully practical, too, even with that heavily raked roof. The only real disappointment is the range between charges.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThe Sportback isn’t available with the lesser E-tron trims, making this the entry point to the range. Standard equipment includes a sporty bodykit, 21in wheels, Audi Matrix LED headlights, adaptive sport air suspension, heated front seats, faux-leather upholstery, two-zone climate control and charging points on both sides of the car so you never have to drag cables over the top of it.
The engine
See full engine specsWith more than 300bhp, the entry-level E-tron Sportback motor certainly doesn’t make for slow progress; 0-62mph is done and dusted in 6.8sec. However, the cheaper BMW iX3 is just as fast, while rival models that cost the same sort of money as the Sportback all offer superior acceleration. This model can also travel less than 200 miles on a charge.
