The model
Read full reviewThe Audi Q2 is a desirable and fine-driving small SUV with an impressive interior. It also has one of the best infotainment systems in the class. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, but Audi's smallest SUV justifies its cost will its superb all-round ability. That said, we'd avoid Black Edition and Vorsprung trims to keep the price sensible.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentS line trim gets you sportier styling and bigger wheels – and if you value those things it's worth considering. Objectively, though, cheaper Sport trim makes more sense.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 148bhp 1.5-litre petrol is noticeably punchier than the 1.0-litre (30 TFSI), and given the Q2's premium billing, we reckon it's worth the extra. Comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, but you can pay extra to have a seven-speed auto (S tronic).
