Review

The outstanding Audi Q7 offers a relaxing blend of comfort and peaceful cruising manners, while proving surprisingly agile for such a spacious seven-seat luxury SUV. Go for the 50 TDI in S Line trim, or the 55 TFSI if you really don’t want a diesel.

Go for the Vorsprung edition of the SQ7 and you'll also get huge 22in wheels, adaptive cruise control, a panoramic glass roof, a black styling pack, matrix LED headlights, a full leather interior and a punchy 558W Bose 3D sound system. It's seriously price, though.

The most potent of all Q7s gets a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 petrol engine with a thumping 500bhp. 0-62mph takes just 4.1sec but expect fuel economy in the low 20s.
