With 592bhp (or 632bhp for the Performance version), the Audi RS Q8 sports SUV is very fast and – despite its size and weight – corners with composure. It's not quite as fun to drive as a Porsche Cayenne Turbo Coupé but it rides well most of the time and is better for practicality than rivals.
The trim
This builds on the standard RS Q8 Performance version by adding larger 23in wheels and suede-like Alcantara on the steering wheel and gear selector. There’s also adaptive cruise control as standard.
The engine
The standard 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine produces 592bhp and whisking this big SUV from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 155mph. Four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic gearbox are standard.
