BMW i5 Touring 442kW M60 xDrive 84kWh 5dr Auto Review

The model
Read full reviewThe BMW i5 Touring is a practical, hushed and luxurious choice. Plus, it’s surprisingly affordable to run as a company car, thanks to its low benefit-in-kind tax rating. It’s just a pity its high starting price will rule it out for a lot of private buyers.
The trim
See full equipmentIn addition to its extra performance, the M60 model comes with adaptive suspension, metallic paint, four-zone climate control, memory settings for the front seats, and bespoke M detailing inside and out.
The engine
See full engine specsWhile the eDrive40 version of the i5 has a single electric motor and rear-wheel drive, this flagship M60 model features two motors (one on each axle) for four-wheel drive. What's more, the M60 produces an extra 258bhp (for a total of 593bhp), so can blast from 0-62mph in a sports car-rivalling 3.8sec. Still, as exciting as this is, we reckon the eDrive40 is still fast enough to keep most people happy.
