The model
Read full Citroën Berlingo reviewFor the money the Citroën Berlingo offers unrivalled interior space and a relaxing ride. It's also better-trimmed inside then the Vauxhall Combo Life and slightly nicer to drive than a Peugeot Rifter – cars that are otherwise identical. If you're after something more car-like to drive or plusher, then it's worth looking at the pricier VW Touran, though.
The trim

The engine
See full engine specsThis engine is available only from stock. It is remarkably smooth and refined for a diesel engine, and has lots of useful low-down grunt that’ll be great for those who regularly carry large loads or lots of people – especially useful if you opt for the seven-seat model. It also offers great fuel economy if you do lots of motorway miles. It's available with a slick, eight-speed automatic gearbox, which feels like a perfect fit with this engine.
