With its funky looks inside and out, the Citroën C3 does a great job of turning heads. It’s also surprisingly well equipped. However, it's poor to drive and not very practical, so any number of rivals are more recommendable on an objective level.

This has the plushest interior available on a C3, plus standard fit sat-nav, bigger 17in alloy wheels, a reversing camera and some extra safety features such as automatic emergency braking.
The engineSee full engine specs
This engine does have plenty of shove from low revs, but it’s much more expensive than the PureTech 110 so very hard to recommend unless you do an awful lot of miles.
