Citroën C4 100kW Shine Plus 50kWh 5dr Auto Review
Category: Coupe SUV
Section: Version review

The model
Read full reviewThe Citroën C4 is very temptingly priced for a coupé SUV, while comfort and refinement also impress. You do pay for its cushiness with roly-poly handling, though, and there are more practical options.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThis top-spec trim features leather upholstery, heated front seats, a premium sound system and wireless phone charging. It's a bit pricey, though.
The engine
See full engine specsThe e-C4 has a 50kWh battery, although its usable battery is only 45kWh. That makes it a bit smaller than many of its rivals and is why the official 211-mile range is a disappointing 139 miles in the real world. It’s not that quick, either, with a tested 0-60mph time of 9.0sec, which is absolutely fine around town but acceleration really starts to tail off between 50-70mph – bear that in mind if you do a lot of motorway driving.
