The C5 Aircross is a great-value large SUV that majors on comfort and refinement, but also offers flexible and frugal engines, versatile seating, a big boot and a decent amount of kit. Don't buy it if you want a plush interior, agile handling or seven seats, though, because its bigger sibling, the Peugeot 5008, and the Kia Sorento do those things rather better.

If you want the plug-in hybrid engine, Shine is your entry point. It comes with everything Sense Plus has but adds electronically heated, adjusted and folding wing mirrors, a dark chrome style pack and an upgraded driver’s seat with electronic adjustment. On top of that, it allows you to add options including a bi-tone roof and the powered tailgate.
