The VZ versions of the Cupra Ateca deliver huge performance and impressive practicality but the model is starting to feel its age, especially inside. If you want a sports SUV with a more upmarket interior and sharper handling, we recommend taking a look at the Cupra Formentor. If you do go for the Ateca, we reckon the 300 in VZ2 trim is the one to choose.

Much like V2 trim, upgrading to VZ2 adds electric memory seats and an electric tailgate. It also adds some additional safety kit, including better lane-keeping assistance, upgraded automatic emergency braking (AEB) and adaptive cruise control.
