The Cupra Born takes all the good bits from the class-leading Volkswagen ID.3 and adds a slightly more polished interior and an upgraded infotainment system. If you go for a mid-range V2 58kWh version it’s actually very well priced against an ID.3. The Born should certainly be on your small car shortlist.
The trimSee full equipment
Those who want toasty buns will need a V2 for its heated front seats. It also gets you bigger 19in wheels, privacy glass and a head-up display to project your speed on to the windscreen.
The engineSee full engine specs
The fastest Born available with 228bhp available, trimming the 0-62mph down to 6.6sec. This e-Boost version will also be available with the larger 77kWh battery, so you can have a longer battery range to match the added grunt.
