The DS 4’s sculpted interior helps give it a real premium feel, making it a good – if pricey – alternative to the usual family SUVs. We've yet to try the 129bhp 1.2-litre PureTech 130 engine. As with all other versions, it comes with an eight-speed automatic gearbox which is impressively smooth as it switches through the gears.
