Review

The Fiat 500 certainly has style and image on its side, but plenty of rivals are better to drive and more practical – and cost less to buy as well.

Despite the 'hybrid' badge, the 500 can't travel on electric power alone and you can't plug it in. It only has a tiny battery that barely does anything the improve the weedy acceleration, although performance is adequate for town driving.
