Review

The Fiat 500X has a nice-looking interior, and many will be sold by the styling alone. There are, however, plenty of other small SUVs in the same price bracket that are more practical, better to drive and offer a higher level of safety equipment and crash protection.

The Fiat 500X RED is a special edition created in partnership with charity RED, an organisation that fights global health emergencies. It gets 19in wheels, and yup, you guessed it, red interior and exterior details.

This turbocharged four-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine is the most powerful in the lineup but it’s only available with an automatic gearbox which can be frustratingly slow in its shifts.
