Qubo prices are fairly reasonable, especially if you settle for the petrol engine, which gives a claimed fuel return of 43mpg. The diesels do much better with almost 69mpg, but they’re a lot more expensive to buy in the first place. Make sure you do enough miles to warrant spending the extra. Resale values are okay for the class.
Fiat QUBO MPV quality & reliability
There's no doubt that this is a car that's built to work hard; has been designed with durability as the first priority. The plastics, for example, are hard and unappealing, but they do feel very solid. There’s also a fair smattering of uncovered, painted metal. More of a concern is Fiat’s disappointing showing in various reliability and customer satisfaction surveys.
Fiat QUBO MPV safety & security
All Qubos come with twin front and side airbags, but curtain airbags aren't included. Stability control is standard on the diesels, but it’s missing from the petrol cars. That’s simply not good enough these days. The security roster is a touch limited, too. You get deadlocks as standard, but not a lot else.
