The new Ford Capri struggles to stand out in the talented crowd of electric SUVs. While it has efficiency, lots of standard kit and a big boot on its side, there are better, more well-rounded alternatives available for the money. For example, there’s the Kia EV6, which has more rear seat space and is better to drive for a similar price.
The trim
While it's pretty expensive, Premium is the one to go for if you want all the bells and whistles. Indeed, it adds matrix LED headlights, an electric tailgate, a panoramic sunroof and many other goodies.
The engine
This sportiest version gets all-wheel drive and a 79kWh battery. While that reduces the range slightly compared with the long range model, it does get 335bhp and a 0-62mph sprint of just 5.3sec.
