The model
Read full Ford Fiesta reviewSuperb to drive, pleasant to sit in and well equipped. The Fiesta is a fine small car, but it can prove quite pricey in higher trims and the Volkswagen Polo just has the edge for ride comfort, safety and rear-seat space.
The trim
See full equipmentActive trim adds a more SUV-like edge to the Fiesta, raising the ride height by 18mm and adding a more rugged body kit. On top of that, you get all the same kit as Titanium trim but with ‘rugged’ 17in alloy wheels.
The engine
See full engine specsThe mid-range 99bhp engine is a fine engine, pulling well from low-revs and sprinting from 0-62mph over a second faster than the 74bhp entry-level engine. Even better, it manages decent fuel economy, helping keep running costs low. All of that makes it our favourite engine.
