Review

If you're looking for cultured motoring on a sensible budget, then you must check out the Hyundai i10. It's relatively spacious, comes with a smart-looking interior and a great infotainment system, and rides and drives more impressively than plenty of bigger, pricier cars. The list price might look a bit steep, but if you check out the monthly PCP deals you'll find it's more affordable than it initially looks.

We’d recommend upgrading to SE Connect for its enhanced infotainment system – with an 8.0in touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – a rear-view camera and 15in alloy wheels (in place of wheel trims). It also opens up the ability to have our favourite 1.2 MPi 84 engine.

This entry-level engine is good enough for town work, but needs working hard to maintain speed up hills or on motorways. We'd steer you towards the more powerful 1.2-litre instead. Available with a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox.
