Review

The hybrid version has low CO2 emissions on its side, but otherwise the Kona is outclassed by the many other small SUVs available to choose from at this price. The Ford Puma is more fun, the T-Roc more comfortable and the Skoda Kamiq more practical.

This range-topping trim level gets you loads of standard kit, but is way too pricey to recommend. If you've got this much cash to splash, there are bigger and better SUVs to choose from.

The cheapest way into a Kona doesn't get you blistering performance. Acceleration stops short of being frustratingly sluggish, but 0-62mph in 11.9sec isn't great for a modern small SUV.
