Review

The Kia Picanto is a fine small car, with a smart interior, tidy handling and, if you pick the 1.25 MPi 83 engine, decent performance and economy. A Hyundai i10 is a bit more polished in terms of ride and refinement, though.

Trim: GT-line S

GT-Line S is the range-topping trim level. It has the same sporty look as the regular GT-Line, along with many of the luxuries included on 3 trim, plus heated seats and a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging, keyless entry, a sunroof and a dual-height boot floor. It’s certainly well furnished, but a little too pricey to fully endorse.

Engine: 1.0T GDi

Even more flexible than the 1.25 at low engine speeds and feels noticeably swifter on the road. It’s certainly the best engine in the range, but is rather more expensive than the 1.25 because it's only available in combination with the range-topping trims.
