The model
Read full Kia Sorento reviewThe Kia Sorento is a brilliant seven-seat SUV and, while it's relatively expensive, it comes with loads of standard equipment and great practicality. Most buyers will be best served by the hybrid (HEV) model, although the plug-in (PHEV) will appeal to company car drivers. Entry-level Vision trim has enough kit to keep most buyers happy.
The trim
See full equipmentThis is now your only trim choice for the Sorento, but it comes with everything you’d need and more.
The engine
See full engine specsThis hybrid HEV model combines a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a small battery pack and electric motor. The electric-only range is only for short distances in stop-start traffic, but fuel economy is reasonable for such a big SUV – in our real-world testing, it averaged nearly 38mpg. Performance is perfectly adequate too, with 0-60mph in 8.7sec.
