The model
Read full reviewThe Kia Sportage is a great all-round family SUV that offers a generous amount of space for four and in the boot, with one of best interiors in its class. The Sportage still makes the most sense if you stick with the lower trim levels, but despite the Hyundai Tucson being a slightly cheaper route into a hybrid family SUV, we reckon the Sportage is the slightly more polished alternative.
The trim
See full equipmentThe sportiest trim level in the range comes with larger 19in wheels, privacy glass, a larger 12.3in touchscreen, adaptive cruise control, keyless ignition, driver's lumbar support, part-suede seats and gloss-black exterior finishes.
The engine
See full engine specsThis diesel produces a more powerful 134bhp and comes fitted with fuel-saving mild-hybrid tech to save a little more fuel and reduce CO2 emissions. It comes with an automatic gearbox as standard, and a four-wheel-drive version is available for improved traction.
