The trim
Takumi trim is focused on luxury, and is equipped with a Mark Levinson sound system, a 360-degree reversing camera, ventilated front seats, a head-up display and driving position memory (for both steering wheel and seat adjustment). It’s very well equipped, but it’s too expensive to recommend.
The engine
Lexus has added a more powerful 300h hybrid system to the UX line-up, with an uprated battery and electric motor. It produces 196bhp, which means it can go from 0-62mph in 8.1sec. That’s marginally quicker than the 250h, but the extra power is more noticeable as you pull away from a standstill. It also offers stronger acceleration at high speeds.
