Offering a more premium feel than its Chery and Omoda sister brands, Jaecoo hails from China, but takes its name from the German word ‘Jäger’ (meaning hunter) and the English word ‘cool’.

Despite its more upmarket positioning, value is key to Jaecoo's appeal, with it offering some very tempting finance deals. However, with its first car, the Jaecoo 7, there is a certain amount of getting what you pay for, because the smart, practical interior is undermined by a poor driving experience.
