Review

The Maserati Levante is spacious and well equipped, but the driving experience doesn’t live up to the badge’s promise

Trim: S

All the toys of the regular Levante but with the 424bhp V6, 19in wheels and bigger brakes.

Engine: V6

The Levante S uses a version of the 3.0-litre petrol V6 with the wick turned up to 424bhp. It certainly makes this 2.2 tonne SUV feel quick although it does like a drink.
