Review

The Mercedes C-Class looks swish and the plug-in hybrid models offer really low CO2 emissions. There are roomier and more comfortable rivals, though

Sport Edition trim adds larger 18in alloy wheels, full LED headlights, flashier interior trim and real leather seats to everything you get with SE trim. We reckon it's the pick of the range.

Plenty fast enough (0-62mph takes less than six seconds) and incredibly frugal. Well worth a look, especially if you're a company car driver, although we reckon the C300 e petrol makes even more sense.
