But good engines and a pleasant interior still make it worth considering. Meanwhile, if pace is everything to you (and running costs aren’t) then certainly look at the exceptionally quick AMG-powered options. We’d still advise looking at the Audi Q5 if you’re after a great all-rounder, or BMW X3 M40i if the GLC43 has tempted you.
