Prices for the all-new Vauxhall Cascada drop-top will start from 23,995, the car maker has revealed.
Although the Cascada shares parts with the Astra and Insignia, it's a bespoke model with an electrically folding cloth roof. At 470cm long, the Cascada is 7cm longer than an Audi A5 Cabriolet and 28cm longer than a Volkswagen Eos. Vauxhall describes it as a full four-seater.
From launch, four engines will be available. Three are existing Vauxhall units: 138bhp 1.4 and 163bhp 2.0-litre petrols, and a 192bhp 2.0-litre Bi-turbo diesel.
The Cascada also gets Vauxhall's all-new 1.6 SIDI Turbo Ecotec petrol engine, which develops 168bhp and 207lb ft of torque. In the Cascada it combines with a six-speed gearbox to give average economy of 54.3mpg and CO2 emissions of 138g/km.
Vauxhall's Hiperstrut front suspension system which is designed to improve steering feel and handling is standard across the range.
Two trims will be available SE and Elite. Standard equipment on SE models includes 18-inch alloys, while Elite models also get leather upholstery, heated front seats and steering wheel, and front foglights.
Three roof colours are available and can be combined with a choice of 10 body colours.
The all-new four-seater convertible is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in April.
