The 500 is cheap to run, fun and stylish, and it’s also one of the safest city cars on the market.
The big lure of this particular deal is the top-spec Lounge trim it comes in. Entry-level Pop models have enough kit to get by but, at this price, Lounge comes in more than £1000 cheaper than Pop’s list price.
Another plus is that, thanks to the desirability of 500s, resale values are strong.
The smallest engine in the 500 line-up produces 69bhp and, as a result, it does take a while to get the car off the mark quickly.
The 500 was named on our list of the worst cars for tall drivers, so check that you're comfortable in it on the test drive.
Should I add any options?
Remote locking, CD/MP3 stereo and electrically adjusting door mirrors come with entry-level Pop models, but this upgrade to Lounge comes with air-con, alloys, Bluetooth, a split-folding rear seat and a fixed-glass roof.
Lounge trim is very well equipped, but be aware that Fiatsupasaver.com can only add cosmetic options on to this deal.
Anything else I should know?
Fiatsupsaver.com say that the 500 will be delivered with ‘delivery mileage’ on the clock; this can be anything up to 70 miles, but is usually around 20.
