Mazda 5 won't be replaced - save thousands on final cars

Production of the Mazda 5 MPV is ending and there are no plans for a replacement.

Mazda officials confirmed to What Car? that sales of the 5 both in the UK and worldwide had dropped significantly in the face of growing popularity from both five- and 7-seat SUVs.

Annual sales of the Mazda 5 in the UK are now only in the hundreds, and as such the company will not be replacing it.

Mazda says that the 5 is still available to order from dealers for the time being, and models are still in stock.

It is in the process of being wound down, though, and the company is no longer spending any money marketing it.

The Mazda 5 is a good driving and reliable MPV that has a spacious cabin with bags of equipment.
