One of the very best small cars, standing out for ride comfort, interior quality and hushed cruising manners. The 1.2 Puretech 100 engine is punchy and doesn't drink much fuel. The Ford Fiesta and other rivals are much more fun to drive but few are quite as stylish.
The trimSee full equipment
Worthwhile if you want extra safety tech such as blind spot monitoring, an upgraded emergency brake system that can recognise vulnerable road users at night, as well as a bigger 10in infotainment screen. It’s a bit too pricey, though.
The engineSee full engine specs
The 1.5 BlueHDi diesel offering has 99bhp and plenty of low-down torque, making it even punchier than the PureTech 100 petrol. It’s not as refined as the petrol engines, but if you cover lots of miles each year this is the engine that’ll suit you best.
