The model
Read full Porsche 911 reviewThe Porsche 911 is a thrilling sports car and one that's remarkably easy to live with. Most will be well served by the entry-level Carrera, but stepping up to the Carrera T is well worth the extra – especially if you’re enticed by the prospect of a manual gearbox.
The trim
See full equipmentThe GTS builds on the Carrera S with 10mm lowered sports suspension, forged alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system, red brake calipers and Sport Chrono Package. The interior is lined with suede-like material but the GTS also offers a few extra options, including the Lightweight Package that removes the rear seats and some of the sound deadening for a slightly more raw experience. This also adds full bucket race seats up front and rear-wheel steering.
The engine
See full engine specsWith 473bhp, the GTS aims to offer all the usable power you'd want in an everyday package that's also easier to live with than the flagship Turbo and GT3 models. This is also available with a manual and automatic gearbox, with a 4.1sec 0-62mph sprint time with the former, and a 3.4sec time for the latter. Top speed climbs to 193mph.
