If you're looking for all the usual electric car benefits but want real driving pleasure, the Porsche Taycan is the car for you. It's even reasonably practical and wonderfully classy inside. It's hugely expensive, though, and if you want to do long journeys on a regular basis, the Tesla Model S is a a better bet.get the best price
The trimSee full equipment
Our favourite trim mainly because of cost, but you don't get a huge amount for your cash as standard. It includes 19in alloy wheels, air suspension, front and rear parking sensors, LED headlights, a powered tailgate, two-zone climate control, 8-way powered front seats, cruise control and part leather. You also get three touchscreens, Apple CarPlay, sat-nav, wireless phone charging, multiple USB ports and a 10-speaker stereo. You should add the optional Type 2 charging cable and the Performance Battery Plus that gives you a longer range and a 270kW charging capability.

This is the 4S with 563bhp, thanks to the addition of the optional Performance Battery Plus package. That delivers even more eye-watering performance along with a longer WLTP battery range of 287 miles. It will also charge faster than the standard 4S, at up to 270kW.
