Seat Leon 1.5 TSI 150 FR Sport 5dr [DAP] Review

The model
Read full reviewThe Seat Leon is a fantastic all-rounder. Not only is it great to drive, well equipped and exceptionally roomy in the back, but it should also prove relatively cheap to run thanks to the frugality promised by its petrol engines – especially the 1.5 TSI 130. Indeed, its blend of talents make it one of the very best family cars.
The trim
See full equipmentLike the FR, but FR Sport has larger 18in alloys, a full LED light bar at the back, heated steering wheel and front seats, electric driver’s seat adjustment, and suede upholstery.
The engine
See full engine specsEndows the Leon with some proper performance. In our tests, it managed to sprint to 60mph from a standstill in just 7.7sec, which isn’t far off what some hot hatchbacks can manage. It’s smoother and quieter than the TSI 130, too, but it quite a lot more expensive.
