The model
Read full reviewThe latest Seat Leon is a fantastic all-rounder. Not only does it handle well, come packed with kit and feature a roomy interior, but it should also prove relatively cheap to run thanks to the frugality promised by its petrol engines – especially the 1.5 TSI 130. Indeed, its blend of talents makes this our favourite family car, while the plug-in version is well worth considering, especially for company car users.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentWe think SE Dynamic is worth the extra over entry-level SE trim, because as well as various infotainment upgrades, it adds front parking sensors, larger 17in wheels and tinted rear windows.
The engine
See full engine specsThe acceleration this offers won’t exactly take your breath away, but it’s a really flexible engine, meaning there’s plenty of pull at low engine revs all the way up to 6000rpm and beyond. It’s much cheaper than the TSI 150 engine, too.
