Perhaps most impressive of all, though, is the value it offers; the 60 version is priced in line with smaller alternatives, including the Kia Niro EV. The 60 has a fine range for everyday journeys plus the odd family holiday, but we'd advise going for the 80 if you regularly drive long distances.

See full equipmentThis is the one to buy if you need the additional traction of four-wheel drive but, for the most part, you’re better off with the greater range provided by the more efficient two-wheel drive 60 and 80 models.
The engine
See full engine specsWith 261bhp at its disposal and a 0-62mph time of 6.9sec, the 80X is the most accelerative Enyaq. It’s noticeably swifter off the line than the 60, but you have to pay a hefty price for that privilege, and the standard Tesla Model 3 is faster and cheaper.
