Opting for Colour Edition gets you jazzier looks, including 16in alloy wheels, privacy glass and door mirrors painted the same colour as the roof. You also get an 8.0in touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry and a virtual cockpit digital display behind the steering wheel.

The most powerful engine you can have in the Fabia comes with a six-speed (rather than five-speed) manual gearbox as standard, and is also the only engine that's available with an optional auto 'box. Unless you need the latter, we'd stick with the 1.0 TSI 95 – it's cheaper and isn't dramatically slower.
