Review

A practical, comfortable and good value for money. One of the best small cars on sale today.

SE Comfort trim takes everything that you get with the entry-level S trim and adds 15in alloy wheels, front fog lights, rear parking sensors, a height-adjustable driver's seat (with adjustable lumbar support), and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and handbrake lever.

This turbocharged 1.0-litre petrol has 94bhp and can get the Fabia to 60mph in around 10.5sec. Okay, that's hardly going to set the world on fire, but acceleration is perfectly adequate for all types of driving. This is our favourite engine.
