The Skoda Kamiq is a breath of fresh air in the small SUV class. It’s bigger, classier inside and more comfortable than the Seat Arona and VW T-Cross, and has some really clever features to help take the stresses out of modern family life. Overall, we prefer the nimbler Ford Puma, but that shouldn't stop the Kamiq featuring high up on your shopping list.

This replaces the previous SE L trim level and comes with even more kit than before for a small price increase. This includes 18-inch alloy wheels, rear LED lights, climate control, keyless entry, digital instrument display, heated front seats, rear-view camera and front parking sensors.

For a reasonable fee over the 95, you get a bit more pep that’s useful if you regularly have a full car or venture onto the motorway. Worth considering.
