The model
Read full Skoda Karoq reviewThe Karoq is a top-drawer family SUV with clever seating options, a big boot and plenty of space inside for passengers. It’s also a pleasure to drive, thanks to its comfortable ride and great visibility – and it has a well made interior. However, Skoda is not planning to produce a hybrid Karoq, so if you want a family SUV with a low company car tax rate, we’d recommend you take a look at the Kia Sportage.
The trim
See full equipmentSE L comes with some useful extras, including VarioFlex rear seats, keyless entry and start, drive mode select, all-round parking sensors and a rear-view camera. It’s our favourite version of the Karoq.
The engine
See full engine specsThe entry-level 1.0 TSI 110 petrol engine has surprisingly decent low-rev shove, so it's fine if you spend most of your time in town. However, our preferred 1.5 150 petrol is a better proposition if you live in a hilly area or plan to do lots of motorway miles.
