Skoda Karoq 1.5 TSI Edition 5dr DSG Review

The model
Read full reviewThe Skoda Karoq is a top-drawer family SUV with clever seating options, a big boot and plenty of space inside for passengers. It’s also a pleasure to drive, thanks to its comfortable ride (as long as you avoid the 19in alloy wheels) and great visibility – and it has a well made interior. If you’re after something sportier then have a look at the Seat Ateca, but the Karoq is the best all-round family SUV in its price bracket.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentThe range-topping trim level gets you 19in alloys, a panoramic roof, electrically adjustable front seats with memory, leather upholstery, a 9.2in touchscreen infotainment system, metallic paint, lane-keeping assistance, blind spot monitoring and an electrically operated tailgate. It’s very expensive, though.
The engine
See full engine specsThis punchy petrol engine isn’t much thirstier than the 1.0 TSI 115 but feels a lot stronger. Not only has it got plenty of power, it’s more refined than the diesels. Available as a manual or automatic – it’s our pick of the lineup.
