The model
Read full reviewDon't discount the Scala on the basis that it's cheap. It ticks many of the boxes that some more expensive family cars fail to do, with its supple ride, decent handling, good infotainment system, amazing rear seat space and vast boot. Only its cheap-looking interior and weaker-than-average resale values mark it down.
get the best priceThe trim
See full equipmentSE L trim is worth considering because it still represents good value and adds micro-suede seat inserts, bigger 17in wheels, front fog lights, LED rear lights, dynamic indicators, privacy glass, climate control, electrically folding door mirrors, and keyless entry and start. You also get a bigger 9.2in infotainment screen with online connectivity and sat-nav.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 94bhp TSI 95 is fine but, in a car this size it can feel a little flat. We'd recommend stepping up to the TSI 110 if you can.
