Skoda Superb 2.0 TDI CR 200 Sport Line Plus 5dr DSG Review
Category: Executive car
Section: Version review

The model
Read full reviewThe Skoda Superb is a truly fabulous thing. For a start, it's absolutely massive, so it has the practicality base covered. Yet it's far from a one-trick pony, proving pretty comfy, nicely made, well equipped and great value for money. If you can forego a premium German or Swedish badge, it's a spankingly good executive car.
The trim
See full equipmentThe sportiest trim comes with a sports steering wheel, Alcantara seat trim, heated sports front seats, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, 19in alloy wheels, a 9.2in infotainment screen, Wi-Fi and performance monitor (extra readouts for g-force, oil temperature, oil pressure etc in the infotainment system), carbon-effect interior trims and sports suspension.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 197bhp 2.0 TDI comes with an automatic gearbox and it's available with four-wheel drive. It's a great performer with huge reserves of low-end oomph for ferrying around people, luggage, or towing a caravan. 0-62mph takes 7.7sec and officially it'll average just over 50mpg.
