The Skoda Superb is a truly fabulous thing. For a start, it's absolutely massive, so it has the practicality base covered. Yet it's far from a one-trick pony, proving pretty comfy, nicely made, well equipped and great value for money. If you can forego a premium German or Swedish badge, it's a spankingly good executive car.get the best price

This 276bhp 2.0-litre petrol comes as standard with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive. It's fast, whizzing you from 0-62mph in just 5.2sec. It's also smooth and officially it'll average just under 35mpg, which, from our experience, is achievable on a long run.
