The Vauxhall Corsa is a competent small car, but isn’t outstanding in any area. It isn’t as comfortable or as nice inside as the closely related Peugeot 208, not as fun to drive as a Ford Fiesta, nor as spacious as a Volkswagen Polo. It is at least well equipped and not too expensive, if you stick to our recommended trim.get the best price

The same as SE Premium, but adds a built-in sat-nav. We’d stick with using your phone’s sat-nav app, though, which you can do via the Corsa’s standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This naturally aspirated 74bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine sits at the bottom of the Corsa’s lineup. We have yet to try it, but the on-paper figures suggest it’ll be fairly sluggish. It comes with a five-speed manual gearbox.
