On top of Business Edition Nav, you get a black roof and door mirrors, tinted rear windows and different alloy wheels. It’s a lot more money for not much more kit, but you’ll find retail-friendly deals on this unlike Business Edition.

Like the Hybrid, the Hybrid4 has a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor driving the front wheels, but adds another electric motor for the rears. This takes total power up to 296bhp to give hot-hatch scaring pace. The electric only range is up to 35 miles and CO2 emissions just 34g/km with performance still adequate when powered by batteries alone. We wish the switch between power sources was smoother and it was cheaper to buy, though.
