Vauxhall Mokka Electric 1.2 Turbo Design 5dr Auto Review
Category: Electric car
Section: Version review

The Vauxhall Mokka Electric offers buyers sharp looks, a decent range, a generous amount of standard kit and a relatively comfy and quiet ride. However, if you’re looking for a funky city electric car, or a do-it-all model, there are better options available.
The trim
See full equipmentEntry-level Design trim comes with a lot of standard equipment, including 16in alloy wheels, cruise control, LED headlights, air conditioning and a 7.0in touchscreen infotainment system with DAB radio, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay/Android auto smartphone mirroring.
The engine
See full engine specsWith 128bhp, our favourite engine gives you more grunt than the entry-level offering and feels perfect for a car of the Mokka’s size. It’ll easily get you up to motorway speeds and has plenty of oomph if you need to overtake. What’s more, in our True MPG tests, it managed more than 40mpg. You can only have this engine with an automatic gearbox but it’s perfectly acceptable and smooth.
