Volkswagen Caddy MPV 1.5 TSI 5dr [7 Seat] Review
Category: Van-based MPV
Section: Version review

Has an excellent safety rating and is decent to drive, but it's very expensive considering how poor the interior is and that an identical Ford Tourneo Connect is thousands less and better equipped. Performance and refinement are worse than the similarly priced VW Touran too.
The trim
See full equipmentThe entry-level Caddy comes with climate control, cruise control, a DAB radio with Bluetooth and a host of standard safety tech. However, we’d spring for the better-specced Life trim to make it feel a little less van-like.
The engine
See full engine specsThe 1.5 TSI petrol is only slightly slower than the faster of the two diesels, but it’s more refined and sounds a lot smoother, even if it does lack a bit of the diesel’s low-end shove. It’s also the cheapest engine in the line-up.
