Review

The VW ID Buzz is charming, pleasant to drive and hugely practical – plus it's cheaper than you might think if you're buying on finance. In short, it's a fantastic alternative to premium electric SUVs, such as the Audi Q6 e-tron and Tesla Model Y. We recommend stepping up to top-of-the-range Style trim if you can.

Life trim comes with a decent amount of equipment, including 19in alloys, adaptive cruise control, climate control, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

All versions of the ID Buzz (apart from the range-topping GTX) have a single 282bhp electric motor driving the rear wheels. This delivers perfectly adequate performance.
